xtrips was founded to let you share and access information on your adventures. And it’s not about blowing the spot – if you don’t want to give away the exact location just let us know the country and those willing to jump on a plane and do their homework just might get lucky. And if you’re convinced there’s just got to be good waves or terrain in some remote part of the world, use the amazing technology we’ve introduced thanks to Google Maps - switch to satellite mode and zoom in to get a bird’s eye view of the shape of the coast or use the topography mode to suss out the contour of the land.
xtrips was launched in November 2008. Iniatially, surfing trips were reviewed. In December, snowboarding trips and skiing trips were added. 2009 will see the addition of mountain biking and trail bike riding trips.
