By adding new functionality such as email alerts, an automated used car tool and online banners, Continental Cars has been able to add value to every user’s experience.
For example, when a new used vehicle comes on to the lot now, it is entered onto the Continental Cars system and is automatically uploaded onto Trademe and AutoBase. Previously the employee would have to enter the details of the vehicle three times - on to the internal system, on to Trademe and on to AutoBase.
In another step forward, a user can enter the details of a vehicle they are interested in. When a car gets published to the live site the user then gets alerted by email and redirected back to the site. Additionally, the Continental Cars salesperson is automatically notified, so that they can contact the user for a test drive.
